On the Street Where You Live

On the Street Where You Live

Made with 100% cotton and 80/20 batting, this quilt is an original design by Sarah based on a 9-patch house idea for a wall hanging she saw in an old magazine. The fusible applique shapes are machine stitched down for the trees and other decorations in between the houses. The backer is a b/w flower print from 100% cotton and there is a bonus block patch (see photo).

Measures 60" wide by 74" long so it is a large lap quilt and will drape beautifully over the back of any sofa to brighten the room.

Customize: if you like this idea but pink is not your color, please contact me to create another one of these for you in the color scheme of your choice. Cost will be the same as priced here but without the sale or church donation; and the quilting will be done by Quilts by Chris, my long arm subcontractor.

I can make the houses different shades of the same color (monochrome) for a more subdued design. I can make the border half as wide and add one more set of houses all around if you prefer. Just use the contact form to discuss it.
